Frequently Ask Questions

Our postpartum pelvic care treatment is dedicated to postpartum mothers who are looking to relieve pelvic discomforts and improve overall pelvic health after childbirth.

For vaginal birth, you may start one month after childbirth. For a C-section, you may start six months after.

Don’t worry, our trained therapists will assess your condition and make sure you’re fully relaxed before performing the postpartum pelvic restoration treatment. Some mothers may experience slight soreness after a session, which will usually improve within 48 hours.

Think of postpartum pelvic therapy like a journey, not a quick stop. We recommend at least 8 sessions to gently stimulate your body’s points and bring back elasticity to your pelvic muscles, and at least 10 sessions and above for optimal results. The goal is to recover pelvic function and help close any gaps in the pelvic bones.

The outcome of our postpartum pelvic care treatment in Singapore varies based on individual symptoms, progress, and adherence to the treatment plan. While some mothers see improvement after one session, complete recovery takes time and ongoing treatment. Overall, recovery is gradual, we encourage mothers to have regular sessions and exercises for optimal results.

Postpartum pelvic care treatment is a long-term investment for a healthier life. It prevents chronic diseases by tackling pelvic issues, potentially reducing future medical costs.

It enhances quality of life by easing postpartum hip pain and postpartum stress urinary incontinence, improving mobility, realigning hips after pregnancy, and boosting sexual function. Better pelvic health may positively impact mental well-being and reduce anxiety and depression.

Our pelvic restoration treatment is not suitable for women with the following conditions:

  • Not suitable during the menstrual period, especially for women who have heavy or irregular flow
  • Past or current fractures in the lower back, pelvis, or thigh bone
  • Implants in the surgical area, eg: metal pins
  • High or mild fever, acute infection, or during the acute phase of a contagious disease
  • Bone infections, bone tuberculosis, malignant bone tumours
  • Injuries or damaged skin at the surgical site
  • Recent acute spinal cord injury
  • Severe abdominal or pelvic pain
  • Pregnant women
  • Osteoporosis or brittle bone conditions
  • Mental illnesses
